A brand-new network to represent all who work with music across the region.

Although there are identified networks working within the music industries across West Yorkshire, there is a need (comparable to other regions and areas) to establish a central/single voice that brings together all organisations, freelancers, venues, communities, supply chain etc to share knowledge and insight, create opportunity, and collaborate.

In doing so we can communicate to national organisations with clarity and ease, and pursue funders and opportunities for the sector at large.

We want the West Yorkshire Music Network (WYMN) to be diverse and representative of the broad variety of music related activities that take place within the region. As such we encourage all with a vested interest in these industries to join and participate.

This is a WYCA initiative as part of ‘You Can Make It Here’ support package, lead in collaboration by Leeds Conservatoire, Come Play With Me and CREATEBritain.
