A bit of a late starter, I first discovered ceramics at college whilst taking a break from work when my children were young. I loved it from the first pot thrown on the wheel, and now work full time at my studio producing a range of porcelain tableware to be enjoyed and used in the home every day.Other things that I love are family, friends, dogs and ice cream – and I think that is probably the right order, though ice cream can creep up quite high on the list at times.

I was lucky enough to grow up in a family that loved spending time together around the table, talking, laughing and sharing meals with lots of friends, and so for me a shared meal using beautiful, artisan handmade tableware is a wonderful experience.I aim to make tableware that will be used and enjoyed for years, rather than cheap fast fashion that is quickly discarded; and I hope that my ceramics will be used and enjoyed by others adding to their own special moments together.
