Jodie Boughey

I am a creative media student at wolverhampton college and I aspire to be a rugby sports broadcaster or a producer in the buisness. I have been studing media for a year and in that time I have created 2 documentaries, 3 short films and one podcast.

I have been really enjoying this course and I have found my strengths and weaknesses towards editing,shooting and the pre production.

In my spare time I like to practice my editing and camera skills by going out and about and giving myself a story to follow along.

I am currently creating a docuemtnary about Nuneaton RFC players and the club. I filmed their players as apart of my college work but have been asked to come back and film another one personal to thier club. This is my first place of work as apart of the ducumentary in sport. 

In my course I have learnt alot about the industry as a whole and what job role I want to reach in the future. They have taught me the basics of editing and how to create a strong peice. They have taught me all about pre production on what has to be done if I was in the industry or even in my own buisness. I am more insightful and more determind now to get into the sport broadcasting industry due to the expirences the course has given me.
