Izy Williams

During my time at college, I completed an A-Level in Film Studies. Throughout this course, I found myself intrigued by the worlds created in the films we studied - to name a few; Fish Tank, This Is England, City of God - and how the sets fuelled world building and developing characters through subtle motifs.

I went on to apply to Leeds Beckett University's Filmmaking course because I wanted to develop my passion for film through an incredibly outlined course and stay within the Northern Filmmaking Industry, as a Hull born and raised creative. 

Leeds Beckett provided numerous opportunities to delve into all areas of filmmaking and I found mine to be within the Production Design Department. I enjoy not only developing the set ideas in Pre-Production, but also dressing the sets prior to filming and seeing my vision come to life.
