Ellie

Hi my name is Ellie i am 17 and i do art and design at Sunderland college. I am most interested by the fashion design and photography aspect of art and i plan to do a university course in journalism and media and work experience working for the gazette. In my second year at college I am focusing on a lot more photography and magazine design work to enable me to build up a relevant portfolio.

Some artists that I admire are fashion designers such as Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen, John Galliano and their 90s runway fashion. Iv'e recently discovered a photographer called Polina Washington whos work I find great inspiration from- her editorial work is really beautiful and she is known for creating 'visual poetry'.
