Edward Gould

I'm Ed Gould, Creative Director and Founding Partner at Carswell Gould, an award-winning integrated marketing agency in the UK. Our global agency excels in blending creativity, strategy, and technology to benefit our esteemed client partners. 

My creative journey began in the New Forest, UK, near the sea. From childhood, my passion for nature, art, design, music, and technology has driven my life's work. Additionally, I once took on the role of guitar-wielding ex-frontman for the band Draw Me Ugly—a rare spectacle for those who witnessed our performances. 

Throughout my career, I've collaborated with a diverse range of brilliant individuals and businesses, representing clients spanning various sectors, including manufacturing, engineering, education, leisure, and technology. Our client list includes global brands like Hexagon, Moove, BOC, M&S, and Suzuki, as well as regional players such as Solent LEP, WP Group, Watercress Line, Elliotts, Meachers Global Logistics, and Port Solent. Under my creative leadership and the incredible efforts of our team, Carswell Gould has earned numerous accolades, solidifying our reputation as a trusted and proven partner. 

Beyond our marketing endeavours, we actively contribute to the regional economy and the development of future leaders. Notably, I take pride in founding Venturefest South, a partner-led, not-for-profit network aimed at driving economic growth through collaboration. As a Visiting Fellow at Solent University and through several non-executive board positions for organisations and businesses—including local Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) and Design and Tech Forums—
I've played a part in enhancing our region's economic landscape. Currently, I serve as a non-executive Board Member of the Hampshire Chamber of Commerce, continuing to contribute to regional growth.

Additionally, I advocate for the transformative power of creativity and innovation through speaking engagements within the creative community.
