Dylan Hill

Dylan Hill is a student studying level 3 music production at Leeds City College. His current main interests and skills in music consist of working on production, foley, recording and mixing and mastering. Dylan has experience with DAWs such as Logic Pro and Ableton Live along with a willingness to learn new skills and experiment when it comes to new experiences such as with different genres of music and new DAWs.

Born in Leeds, Dylan has always had a deep interest and appreciation for music in not just songs but other media such as films and games. Dylan has a personal drive in which he hopes he can make his mark in the music industry along with his current experience both in and outside of college. For example, Dylan has taken part in June Jam and Jingle Jam which were events that took place in his college where the music performance students performed a variety of songs from different artists. Accompanied by the music production students who set up, mixed and did every technical role within the events. Dylan has helped with setting up the events by setting up the stages with a team of other production students, where his role in each event was setting up microphones for vocals and drums, as well as helping with mixing during performances.

In the future, Dylan plans to branch out and become more independent by releasing his own music and learning new skills and more about his interests such as foley, mixing and mastering.
