Ashleigh Simpson

My name is Ashleigh Simpson, and I am a passionate upcoming actor with a Level 2 and Level 3 diploma within Performing Arts from Sunderland College. Throughout the past few years, I have had workshops with many industry professionals such as Southpaw, The National Theatre, Happily Ever After, Washington Art Centre and many more - these experiences have allowed me to gain essential knowledge and experience as well as important links within the industry. I also have an abundance of performance experience; throughout my training at college, I have participated in the South Tyneside Parade, a site-specific performance integrating AR called ‘We Are Giants’ with Southpaw and multiple immersive pop-up events for the Sunniside Food Festival. I have also been involved in a wide variety of staged performances at college such as Two by Jim Cartwright, Bull by Mike Bartlett, A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness, and an original performance named ‘Butterfly’.
