Tom Barnes

I am a singer, songwriter, guitarist, and producer who has a fair amount of experience in each sector. You can see from my creative disciples that I have had some experience in some other sectors, like being a performer in a band and being able to do mixing well. I am quite easy to work with who loves sharing ideas with others to try and make things sound better. I was in a band for 2 years as the lead singer, songwriter, and rhythm guitarist, and at the moment i am looking down a different path of producing, mixing, mastering, and even more at the college I study at now. I am always full of ideas and ready to learn new things there and am gradually getting better and better at everything there has to offer there. One of the projects we have done there was doing all of the sound for a video game trailer which was Assassins Creed: Mirage, which is an action packed game with lots of fighting so I worked in a team with my classmates to create the ambience, sound fx, voiceover, and music which was created by me. I also have a little bit of experience in live sound. I know how to do live looping and use MIDI mixers to tweak effects set on Ableton session view when recording tracks or performing live. My main genre of music is rock/alternative mixed with slight Britpop or sometimes grungy sounds to make something completely unique. However, I am quite flexible with what music I am able to make as i have a great understanding of pretty much any genre. I have had quite a lot of experience with mixing now although there is always more to learn. I won't go on too much and instead I will show you some of my work.
