Sarah Millican is a much loved English comedian. She won the coveted comedy award for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2008. Her comedy style is playfully rude, cuttingly honest and highly accessible, which is probably why the nation has taken her to their heart. She is one of those rare comedians who just has funny bones.

She was listed in the top 100 most powerful women in the UK in 2013. In September 2014, she founded Standard Issue, which is an online magazine for women, this was followed up by a spinoff podcast in February 2016.
