Mia-Louise Lopez

My name is Mia-Louise, I'm 16 and currently studying a Level 3 Art and Design course at college. I believe that I am a hardworking individual who can adapt to any given brief even whilst using techniques outside of my comfort zone. I enjoy learning to use new art mediums and adapting them to fit my style and what i work best with.

I specialise in fine art painting, digital art and fashion but I have explored other art styles like printmaking and ceramics. Ideally I'd like to improve my painting skills even more as I believe that this is my strong point within art and its something I'd like to focus on in year 2 of my college course.

In my free time I like to paint on unusual canvases such as small tea bags and t-shirts for when I go to concerts. I attend a weekly crafts club where I crochet a variety of things from wearable garments to smaller keyrings.  I also like to write short stories and poems about random topics which I hope to one day share them with others. Finally, I love music and have done since I was little, including playing an instrument, going to concerts/festivals, or just a casual listening party in my room. Music has always helped my creativity flow which is why I always listen to something when I paint.
