Julie Weir

I am a watercolour artist and book illustrator and am lucky to have collectors of my work from across the world. I was shortlisted as a finalist in the BBC’s Wildlife Artist of the Year and have exhibited at many major events, including the largest wildlife and nature exhibition, Southern Nature Art of which I am a Director.

I use watercolours in a unique way, producing highly detailed paintings. My goal is to showcase the beauty and diversity of British wildlife, using the natural world to inspire people to look at nature in a different way.

I teach Acrylic ink painting in Chichester and I am just about to start teaching a new beginners watercolour course in Gosport.
