Jingyuan Ma

Hi,I am Jingyuan.I am a printmaker and animator who explores the spaces between memory, imagination, and storytelling. My work often takes the form of stop motion, mixed media, and experimental short films, creating playful yet slightly uncanny worlds inspired by childhood, nostalgia, and resilience.

I hope each piece I create can carry a sense of warmth or quiet strength, offering viewers courage, comfort, or a small spark of hope.

I work across various media, including puppet based stop motion, Riso printing, and digital animation. I enjoy using handmade processes such as printmaking to create moving images, exploring the connection between tactile materials and animation.
