Grace is a dreamer born on February 11th 2009 in the East Midlands.
Her dream is to make unrealistic things realistic, starting with her first love, fashion. She doesn't think her dream is too big, but that the world is too small. Creating beautiful expressive pieces in an extravagant yet elegant way is how she would describe herself.
Grace fell in love with creating, whether it was on a computer typing away, doodling on the corners of her homework, going the extra mile for her projects or getting covered in glue for fun. She used to sit with her Grandma and Aunt who taught her to knit and paint on rings, that she would then wear to school. After watching 'Hello, Dolly!' at the fateful age of 3 she knew exactly who she was and who she was meant to be. Once she fell in love, with the fabrics, garments and how everything was styled she started her empire. She made her first non-sew dress at 8 years old, full of sparkly gold and black tulle and golden roses, since then she had tried many things such as jewellery making, writing books and poetry, photography, hair styling, makeup art, embroidery and dance, she wants to express herself and her way of life in any way possible.
She did Textiles for her GCSE's and never felt more at home, her final piece was was an embroidery portrait of Victoria from The Corpse Bride by Tim Burton.
Each idea is unique, spontaneous and never the same. Her inconsistent style is her strongest attribute, she has the ability to change her work depending on the situation confidently. Her current goal is to create her own fashion brand that promotes sustainability, recycling and comfort to all, which will one day branch out into several of her interests, interior design, electronics, houses, charity and free speech. She is young but her ambition is raw and something she is proud of.
