ETHAN LINDSAY

I am a Fashion BA Hons undergraduate, who has created a menswear inspired unisex collection, which truly encompasses my love for a particular aesthetic and devotion to developing it. With a background in in art and media, my role in fashion was a natural development from personal interests and love for aesthetic expressionism through dress. As a development, after several years of being lucky enough to involve myself in design, curation and research, I have been able to cement my true love for fashion by means of archiving and curation.

My aim is to continue creating body's of work centralised around the idea of documentation of various aspects within fashion, whilst continuing to offer my creative license within this role. I feel it is important to continuously reference the historical aspects of fashion, and the most influential elements. Therefore, to be able to create, at the same time as paying homage correctly, is the best way for me to continue refining my craft. This could be via means of compiling an archive of physical objects, as well as documentation pieces that I am able to curate, enabling me to further my personal development within fashion, as a next step from producing my graduate collection.
